Hospice of Kitsap County is looking for some dedicated volunteers to give of their time and talents to make a difference in our community.  Hospice volunteers are integral members of the hospice team.  These special individuals work side by side with dedicated hospice professionals. 

Volunteers Needed For Silverdale Office

• Currently, we are seeking individuals to support the staff at our Silverdale location by performing receptionist duties; i.e., answering phones, helping with the mail, making copies, faxing and other general office work.  Phone and computer experience are helpful, but not necessary. 

Opportunities to Assist at the Care Center in Bremerton

• At our Care Center we are specifically looking for early evening greeters (from approximately 6:00pm to 9:00 pm).  If you are interested in this opportunity, or have a special talent to share with the patients and families at the Care Center, please make the decision to volunteer at Hospice of Kitsap County today.

Volunteer Training Classes
The heart of any Hospice is truly the volunteers who give unselfishly of their time and talent.  While many of our volunteers are family members or friends of patients, all of them are citizens of our community who share a common bond; a desire to help provide the terminally ill comfort and compassion during their final days, and give respite to family caregivers.  

The date and times of the next training classes are listed below; all are conducted at our Silverdale office, 3100 Bucklin Hill Road, Suite #212.  Attendance at all classes is required.  If you have questions or wish to enroll, call our office at 360-698-4611, or e-mail home@hospicekc.org.
