How Your Gift Can Help

Medicare, Medicaid and most commercial insurers provide basic hospice benefits to people in our community. However, Hospice of Kitsap County is committed to providing a higher level of care. This means we deliver more services, and we serve those who may be uninsured or underinsured.

Your gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated and support:

Charity care
To support uninsured and underinsured patients.

Respite care
To support in-home caregivers who need a break from 24-hour care of a loved one.

Grief counseling and support
To support any member of our community who needs professional grief support at no charge.

Patient assistance
To help patients and families achieve end-of-life goals that are not covered by insurance or family funds, for example, a burial dress,
a birthday cake, etc.

Future needs
To build a six-month reserve that provides liquidity as well as funds to address emerging end-of-life care needs as they arise in the community.
