Hospice of Kitsap County hopes to one day create a hospice campus. A campus will serve as a permanent home for the entire agency. We are seeking a donation of property within Kitsap County to help make this dream a reality.

Children's Grief Retreat
Support groups are powerful ways of finding validation for your feelings and deriving a sense of shared experience and commonality.  These groups provide support and suggestions for those on a "grief journey".   At Hospice of Kitsap County, we offer a special one-day retreat for children ages 4 to 12, and their adult guardian, who are grieving the death of a loved one.  For a gift of just$50, you can help a child learn how to better cope with their loss.

Laptop Computers
One of the best ways to make sure our clinicians have up to date patient care instructions and to ensure the best possible care is by keeping our patient's medical records electronically.  Your donation of $1,500 will purchase a laptop computer for our clinicians to use and is a significant aid to ensuring quality care.

Staff Education
A donation of $1,500 is enough to send a nurse or social worker to a national hospice convention.  These funds can also be used to ensure that our chaplains, bereavement counselors and nurses aides maintain their skills through other educational venues.  Hospice of Kitsap County believes it is imperative that our patients have the most up-to-date care, which means ensuring our staff has the best training when it comes to care giving.
